Prefer public transport: If you are coming via flight, train or bus and you have to reach to the city then go for public transport.
Avoid Museum Fees: Choose Museum entry fees as per your interests. Most museums offer free entry on particular days.
Visit Tourist Information when you land: This one is not only great for saving money, but time as well. Make your way to “Tourist Information” once you land and you’ll be spoiled with choice. You will find great information and advice (for free) as well as get the best option for travelling from the airport to your accommodation.
Purchase a pass: Most major cities offer special cards that include discounts or free admission for museums, attractions, tours, and public transportation.
Traveling Europe by FlixBus: German-based FlixBus has routes in 20 European countries and thousands of cities, with prices starting as low 5 euros. Their buses include Wi-Fi, washrooms, electrical outlets, up to three free bags, and comfy seats.
Traveling Europe by Budget Airline: One of the cheapest ways to travel long-distance in Europe is by budget airline.
Traveling Europe with a Eurail Pass: If you plan to travel around Europe in a grand tour or if you are going to be traveling across vast distances and don’t want to fly, getting a rail pass is your best money-saving travel option. Your cost per trip will be a lot lower than if you were to buy these tickets separately.
